Scott Kalitta Killed

Scott Kalitta was killed in a fiery crash today at the NHRA SuperNationals from Englishtown New Jersey. Terrible news and a great loss to the drag racing comunity. Qualifiying was canceled out of respect and due to track damage. The show on espn is very sad to watch.

I saw some of this on ESPN and it was pretty tragic. The guys they were interviewing were all pretty broken up about it and it almost made me cry to watch it.

They showed the replay. Isn't there any runoff there? It seemed like just a split second after the car blew up that he hit a wall or something and exploded.

Sad day for drag racing. Just like last year.
