26 Indycars on a high banked ¾ mile track? Holy cow! Don't miss this one for sure.

Join us during the event and watch with us live on the board. It's big fun! During the last two races, we've seen a few nameless lurking Doobers (HEMLOCK & Mush) online with the rest of us so don't be shy and toss in your cheers and jeers too. The more the merrier and we have a long way to catch up to those "other" guys so let's get to it!

I'll have to admit that I don't think I've ever seen this race. I'll be curious to see how that many OW cars on that short of a track works out. Should be fun? :)

It should be fun. I'm quite glad that they added the extra 50 laps to the race distance as the past couple have been on the short side. Hopefully, there are plenty of green flag stops in this race and that they don't take 8 laps of yellow for a spin-and-continue.

They're talking about Manning's parking in Iowa and according to Larry Foyt, there was a seating issue that led to some discomfort. Foyt then said that he likes Manning but Danger Mouse can't keep on parking cars.

RHR has to pull out of the qual line with a shifting problem. Will start from the back. :(

RHR has had some tough luck this season. He does have a very quick car. It's times like this where I wish they brought back raceday warm-up for ovals.

Looks like we have the new style timing again which I don't like so much. I loaded up the free feed a few minutes ago and it was full browser size. Came back a fe minutes later and now have my normal 6x4 picture in the full browser window. I like it better small anyway.

Heard some stats yesterday about passes for the lead in previous years that didn't encourage me much. I hope they can get two lines going.

After qualifying yesterday, I left the window up and casually watched some USAC sprints. That was cool they did that. I read or heard that the Silver Crown cars were going to be on too but I've been too lazy today to look or find out when.

You've got me hooked on the announcer guys on the computer. Much better than the TV crews. :)

I was just looking at the new timing screen. Nobody has a speed over 160. That's a good 7~8 MPH slower than they qualified.
