Okay, I read about this somewhere else but if true, this is a huge black eye on F1. For wanting to run a scandal free season, unlike last, this has got to be bigger than Stepneygate.

What started out as a possible rumor has grown into a full blown scandal. Max says "bite me, so what" to the world but the calls for his resignation and the whole deal has gotten a lot bigger.

Folks in Bahrain tell him to stay away so the focus can be on the race. Spud TV even has a poll asking fans if Max should step down.

They say there's no such thing as bad publicity and this is for sure, getting F1 in the news. Personally, I'm kind of enjoying the soap opera of the whole thing, much like Stepneygate last year.

What with the ongoing cheating/theft things going on over in the NASCAR world, it's nice to see that F1 is fitting into the grand scheme of things that everything in motorsports is kinda messed up.

As a fan, I could really care less if Max is into Nazi fetish orgies as long as it doesn't muck up the racing. :p
