Jeebers! I think I'm going to go for a motorcycle ride this weekend and have begun some of the mental planning. It pisses me off that it's so expensive.
Fill up before leaving: $16.00
Fill up half way: $16.00+
Eat cheap lunch or breakfast: $6.00
That'll get me about 300 miles. Should I go farther, add in another $16.00. Hell, that's (gets calculator) $54 bucks! Go riding twice a month or eat more than fast food and it's easy to burn well over $100.00. Not even bothering to factor in tire, chain, maintenance and insurance costs, having a moto toy ain't cheap for us poor old ladies. :mad:
I guess not doing any real riding all summer makes up for how much I'm planning to do between now and spring but Jeez, I used to be out all day and not spend what one tank of premium costs today.
