Well, I'm heading up to Laguna Seca Friday morning to attend the last real AMA Superbike race. I'm pretty sad about it. Who knows what next season will bring? USSB with maybe 7 bikes on the grid or AMADMG Gong Show.
Like him or not, Dean Adams has pretty much summed up my feelings:

Have a good trip, Ned. Shed a tear for the Doober family while you're up there and come back with the good dirt.
We're going ahead and making this post our official weekend thread.

Hahahaa! Just read at Soup that the Daytona 200 will be run at night under the lights. Way to make one cluster into a bigger one. :ack2:

Well, it's over. Don't know whether I should be mad , sad :(, happy :) or indifferent ?
I was working and only half watching/listening to the live broadcast on SPUDtv but the general mood seemed to be that people didn't know what the hell they are doing next year. I half heard that Mladin had said some not so nice things about Spies? Wish I could have paid more attention but I was updating a customer's main domain controller/server and didn't want to screw it up.
