At the bottom of the favorites scale, but the only show left in town, NASCAR wrapped up it's season this weekend with three championships going down to the wire.

Carl Edwards put in the hero's effort in both Nationwide and Cup but couldn't bring home the big trophy. Johnny Benson takes the truck series and Clint Boyer, Nationwide.

Jimmie Johnson takes his third title in a row and is only the second driver to ever do a three-peat. I'm giving 50% of the credit to his crewchief, Chad Knauss.

NASCAR is boring as hell, the races too long and too numerous and it takes up way too much time on TV but for the common folk and casual fan, it's the big show. To me, it has become the WWF of motorsports but if nothing better is on, I watch it anyway.

I am glad it is over. Getting adjusted to everything being over will be weird but the weather in this neck 'o the woods has become perfect for motorcycle riding and that's where I'll be until March!
