The website is better now. It was sick before.

It has taken about 16 straight hours, but the joint over at DooberVille.com has been refreshed and updated to be compatible with Mozilla Firefox.

It's not completely back together yet, but it has been tested in both IE and Firefox and displays and works as it should. Apologies to any Firefox users that visited and saw what a piece o' crap it was. It's better now and additional features and content are on the way!

On the tech side of things, the entire site was created from scratch in a different program than it was originally done in. It was a steep learning curve with a lot of swearing involved, but we're on the right track.

Thanks for hanging in there Doobers! It's only going to get better!

I started at 1:00pm and it's 5:20am now. I's needs me some sleepy time. ;)

Cheers mate!

It's looking better all the time. Keep working on it and it might actually turn into something! :D

And get more smileys installed here in the 'hood in your spare time.

I got your smilies right here, pal! :sneaky2:

Look for some further development on the site soon. We're going to have to add a few new pages to get in more news or go to a widescreen version? Lots of new ideas are being played with but it seems there's not enough hours in the day to put them into results.

We have recently added feeds from Indycar, SBK and the AMA on the Whaterver? page, but it's looking like we need to add another moto page and maybe put Indy and sports cars together?

User suggestions are welcome.

Oh damn! :angry-004:

Didn't realize until this morning that the MotoGP.com RSS feed URL must have changed when they went to their new site. Back home at DooberVille (http://www.dooberville.com/motogp.htm), the feed hasn't updated since Tuesday! Ooops!

Will get it fixed in a few hours

Big things a brewin' for changes to the website. We'll be separating the Whatever? page into two new pages. One just for AMA and SBK news and views and the other for Indycars and sportscars (ALMS, Grand-Am, LMES).

It's a hella lot of work but should be up by the weekend?

Stay tuned! :cheers2:

w00T! :biggrinjester: The hard part is done!

The nasty stuff has been done at DooberVille (http://www.dooberville.com)! The old Whatever? page has been split into two pages - One for AMA & World Superbike news and the other for Indycar & Sportscar news, although this one won't be done until Friday. Lots of new buttons to make and buttloads of hyperlinks to reconnect so that everything works again. Tested in IE and Firefox at 1024x768. It looks better at higher resolutions so now you have an excuse to go buy that new video card and widescreen monitor you've been wanting.

Now, there's just some fine tuning and polishing and we'll be done until the next time we run out of room.

Thanks everyone, for your support and continued patience as the home page and the forums grow. Go check it out if you haven't had a look in a while and tell us what you think!

The latest news about www.dooberville.com (http://www.dooberville.com/) has to do with the AMA and their continued re-vamping.

Details are on the AMA & SBK news page (here (http://www.dooberville.com/amasbk.htm)) but it appears that the AMA has not only redesigned their member magazine, but they have a whole new website as well and it appears that they have stopped providing their RSS news feeds? They have been contacted via email but have not bothered to respond. AMA Pro Racing for Superbikes does have its own news page but again, no RSS feed is provided.

We will continue our search for RSS news that pertains to road racing in the US. If you know of a good one, give us a head's up.

Thanks, Doobs!
