Did you see Michel McDowell's wreck? Man! It was wicked!
That poor dude's car snapped mid corner and took a violent hit at a really bad angle then flipped and caught on fire. I happened to be watching live and did not think he was going to get out of the car and walk away.
I guess the safer barriers really do work because if this guy had hit concrete, he wouldn't have made. I feared the worst but the barrier sucked up most of the energy but the car was still completely destroyed.
Tony Stewart just said it was the hardest hit he's ever seen anybody take. Wow! :eek:
