First off, thanks for swinging by the ol' DooberVille for a visit but now it's down to the venerable question, What the Hell is DooberVille?
Downtown DooberVille (http://www.dooberville.com/forums/../), the website, is about racing news, a bit of crackpot commentary and a place to scan some multi-disicipline motorsports stories without going to eleventeen different sites. It's like the Drudge Report of racing news! This joint, the board, is the DooberVille neighborhood where our Doobers can discuss racing, drivers, and pretty much anything reasonably interesting to the typical race fan, gearhead of motorcyclist. Since we are mostly bike riders around here, we also have some special interest forums that cater to our own selfish needs, just because we can. There's some other weird shiat too and an off-topic forum for whatever (as long as it is reasonably SFW). Sci-Fi geeks welcome too!
DooberVille isn't some elite corporate effort or selling anything and was created, funded and is maintained by our own Doober, ÜberDoober, aka Elisabeth Kron, aka EKron (aka Diane too) that some of you sim racers may even know from a stint at D3 and iDT? Most of our current Doobers come from the SPEEDtv forum and a local (Phoenix, AZ Metro Area) motorcycle riding board, southwestrides (http://www.southwestrides.com/).
Our community of Doobers is small but we would like to see it grow and become more active so please take a minute or two to register and post up a howdy. We'll send you a case of The Official Fuel of DooberVille if you do.

The short list is no starting threads, PM's or polls without making 5 regular posts first and those five first Noober posts need approved before they show up. BUT THERE IS AN INSTANT WORKAROUND!
After you have registered and replied to your confirmation email, at the bottom of the forum, click the "Contact Us" link, tell us you are a real person, your username and maybe how you found us and we will bump you up to Full Doober and you can avoid the 5 post getting started deal. WE KNOW this is a pain in the ass, but it is a one time thing. We're sorry for the extra trouble but it's better than waking up to penis pictures on the board.
So again, thank you for checking us out. We hope you'll come back and help us get things moving around here. We're keen on MotoGP, Formula 1, WSBK and Indycar so if you're an expert, think you're an expert or just a fan that wants to know more and hang with others that dig racing, please sign up and join the party.
