Nope, this isn't it. Don't have one. Didn't have one for Road Atlanta either.
Why?
Why bother.
Since it's half of their content and lifeblood, might we suggest:

Well, so maybe I was a little bit harsh?
I admit that I read about what's happening at each race. At this point, I just want Mladin to every single race of the season. I'll even admit that I've watched, by accident mind you, some of the AMA Primetime show thing on Saturday night but it just ain't like it used to be.
I mean I look at the results and see all the regular guys and I don't know if it's the lack of a better television package, the stupid DMG rules and classes or what but everything seems to have just stepped down a level?
I just don't care like I used to. 20 years ago, after a couple of regional AMA/CCS titles and a buttload of trophies and crap, both my husband at the time and I seriously sat down and tried to figure out if we could go pro. I think we even went as far as to fill out our license applications? Then, being pro riders on the AMA circuit was a big deal.
I'm sure to any club racer moving up to the National series is a big deal but in the grand scheme of things, not so much. If DMG brought an event to my local market, I would probably go just to see my American hereos and it would be a bit more of a spectacle than the normal club stuff they run around here (Although Melissa Paris and Peter Lenz have popped up a few times locally).
I'm just rambling at this point. I guess I am struggling to adapt to my change of interest in this series? Maybe just isn't that good anymore? Maybe I spend too much time on the Internet?

No you are not rambling. I appreciate your concerns as a hard core old time racer who is also trying to make a comeback and eventually compete in the new DMG Daytona Sportbike series. It is a question of is the glass half full or half empty? Any substantive change in the series is going to be difficult for everyone. Racers, fans, safety officials, and series administrators. Don't give up and give it time to settle. The biggest issue I see with the series and reframing your concerns is that the talent is missing. There was a decline in "New Novice Racers from 99-08. Things are starting to come back but grid sizes are way down. I recently went to LVMS WERA event and did my 1st racing in 11 yrs. It was encouraging to see the new crop of 125GP racers who are like 10-14. They are FAST and really amazing with strong family support - at least in WERA West Series. Also present was Toye and a new kid Elena Myers [not price] who is only 14 and racing the balls off [kidding] a Kawi 600 superbike. She is just as good as the Haydens at the same age. Look for her to become your next hero.
I am intrigued by your statement that you and your husband both raced. I only knew of one husband/wife racers in the country who showed up at WERA - NC during the 80's, meet and got married. They also worked the corners and her brother from Ohio raced and took race photo's for extra income. Are we old long lost friends? I am the 1996 WERA NC regional champion in 125GP. Don't want to blow your cover but if your first name is Heidi ... dang longtime no see! Still live and work in Cincinnati?
Never mind I just read your profile but, would really like to get to know you better. I missed your racing career apparently. Do you live in the western states? I was speaking above of Heide Fine formerly Smakula from Ohio. I have lost touch with her and her brother. There was Nancy Dewar who I raced in 125's but she broke her ankle bad in the 600's and ended her career. Then there was this "TALL BLONDE" who hung out with Vance & Hines when Houseworth was with them back during the Rainey, Schwantz, Shobert era. Looks kinda like you. I wasn't aware she raced.

Sorry, KK, not the Heidi you are looking for. Move along, nothing to see here.
I raced from about 1986 for about 3½ years and my ex-hub, Kelly, longer. We mostly raced AMA/CCS at Firebird (in Arizona) but I was also a licensed expert with the AFM and raced at Willow Springs and Riverside. I took the 1988 AMA/CCS regional Expert Middleweight class championship and Formula 2 class championship and they also held a summer night race series and I took that title too. I was also the southwest regional season points runner up and ran the #2 plate. Kelly held the #1 plate for a few years. Switched over to the 750 class from the 600 and never did a whole lot but that was on a brand new '88 GSX-R short stroke motor that was crap anyway. I also raced the 1985 900 Ninja that is now my licensed street bike. I've got a few pics in my user album HERE (http://www.dooberville.com/forums/album.php?albumid=1). I think that link works, if not, hit my member profile?
Do you know Jim Cox from LV? I'm sure he remembers me as we had some great battles on (and off) the track. Online, I go by my first name, Elisabeth, hence EKron or EK but IRL, I'm Diane. If you do bump into Jim Cox, ask him if he remembers Kelly & Diane from Firebird. :winky: Oh, and Dale Kieffer that is now part of the new Yamaha riding school at Miller is another guy that might remember us?

I just heard the name last month when I was there. I will look him up for you and pass the info along. Maybe will have to wait until Oct. the next race at LVMS. But I will remember to find him for you. :thumbup1:
I plan to attend Miller if I can get my act together and will do the same for you also.
Ok... I missed all the stuff at Firebird back in the day. Congrats on your success. I raced a 93 ZX6 that was dog crap also. Made the WERA GNF - C Prod Novice my rookie yr with it. Finished 34th behind 32 Hurricanes and 1 Yamaha. Top Kawi WERA Novice 600 stocker guy. :cheers2: Boo.... I was soooo slow but I didn't get lapped.
Given it a go again in WERA WEST Expert Middleweight Superstock and Seniors classes. It's coming back and I feel I am progressing well. Gonna take some time to knock off the rust. I'm in no hurry! Got the rest of my life. :coolshades: The avatar and photo album was April 11th, 2009 LVMS. Not to bad. Lovin the 06 R6. Geez bikes have come a long way since the 90's. Easiest thing I ever raced. You should consider givin it go again yourself. I think you'd have fun.
Funny: Nothin here? Move on? Not to worry I wasn't looking. I am happily engaged and replacement would be a most challenging and daunting task for anyone trying! She is the 3rd thing I like most in life. Good luck gettin that high up on the list [see profile - things I like most] :thumbup1:
