The AMA boys are back in action this weekend from Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama!
Not that you can trust it anymore, but here's the http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk279/DooberRoni/SpeedLogo.jpg schedule:

Sunday April 20
Birmingham Day 1 - 3:00pm EST, 12:00pm PST
Birmingham Day 2 - 4:00pm EST, 1:00pm PST
Tuesday April 22
Formula Xtreme - 1200pm EST, 9:00am PST

Our old buddy Dean is starting to post up stories and pics over at SuperbikePlanet (http://www.superbikeplanet.com/newind.htm/) so check it out. We'll try to bring as much news here from different sources as we can so stay tuned!

So, what's everybody expecting this round? Is Mat going to kick Ben's ass again or are we going to see some new faces at the front? Now that we've moved away from awful Daytona, maybe we'll see if anybody has anything for the Suzuki's.

Hey, didn't they do some upgrades or changes at Barber since last year?

So, I'm not saying that going to a 600 Superbike class might not produce some good close racing, it probably will, but the "Literbike" class still needs to be at the top of the food chain.

Top FX bike would be 10th compared to Superbike times

Has anyone seen full results from any of the classes? I've only seen the top 20 - rumor had it Krusty Ferguson was returning from Australia to race this round but I haven't seen his name.

Never mind, I found them - no Krusty...

Watching the supersport battle on the tv right now and BBoz and Herrin dicing it up. Pretty good show.

Bummer Rog Hayden got hurt again. There's an update over at the Planet on his condition. There seems to be a lot of folks making some snarky comments at this round or at least there's a lot of chatter going on. Mladin was bored and has said a few other things that have folks talking.

I would guess everybody has the feeling that they have no idea what the future holds and may be a little edgy?

Uh oh. Just spoiled the results of the Superbike race before the broadcast. Sounds like a snoozer?

At least there's no Ralph Shaheen in the box with Freddie. :D

Bummer. Just read an update on Rog's condition over at Soup (http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2008/Apr/080421c.htm)

"I'm jacked up real bad," Hayden said this afternoon via cell phone. "I broke my pelvis in three spots, one near my tail bone. I also broke my lower left lumbar in three spots. My pinkie is ground down and dislocated so bad they can't pin it; they might have to do a bone graft.
