Okay, I'm here and live for qualifying but here's the deal. I'll post more about it later but DooberVille HQ is moving and our time here for the next two weekends is going to be pretty scarce.
We're on full crazy mode here. It is 5:08am and I have been up all night packing and cleaning and busting ass. No fun and it wasn't my ideal to move, it was the landlord's but once all is said and done, it is a total upgrade where we are moving to and will be much better. It is just the dread of unexpectedly moving after living here for ten years and quite simply, I have a lot of shit.
So, as I cram junk in boxes and bags, I've got the qual show on the screen and am taking it for all it is worth with the race being on broadcast tv and not live.
If I dont' respond, now you know why.

Scratch that. Didn't realize it was on Fox. Means I don't have to watch a slide show online. I wake up early at 3p and watch:coolshades:
3PM? I will have to try to remember to watch - seems like I only manage to catch Monaco every year.

There may be showers today (or there may have been). Should be a pretty interesting race.

Button got a poor start. Vettel did his best Schumi/Hamilton/Kubica start chop.

Fisichella blew by Heidfeld and Alonso.
Vettel is hooked up.

I love the similes for Alonso's handling of the car.

Brilliant. Hamilton, get around Kubica. Thanks guys on the paddock. :thumbup1:
Somehow, Alonso lost a bunch of time to Heidfeld.

Raikkonen and Nakajima with stops. They swap spots.
Now Button and Trulli pit.

Hard tires for both Brawns.
Webber stays ahead of Barrichello after their stops. Some switcheroos afloat.
Hmm, looked like a new nosecone for one of the BMWs. That's Heidfeld.

Heh, at his Hobbes's Brawn impression.

Kovi and Bourdais with a contretemps.
Jeez, they call FCYs for much less debris than that on ovals. Hell, they do that for roadies, too, here.
Hamilton did some lawnmowing to keep interest.

Mistake by Brawn to wait too long to get softs but I guess that's armchair race strategist talk.
Vettel wins, Vettel wins.

Hoping the new aero bits are a signal for a 2nd half assault from RBR and not just track conditions that put them a step above today. Anything to keep one team from nailing down the championships at the halfway mark.....Unless, of course, it was BMW. In which case that would be plenty exciting for me:)
Excellent drive by Massa. 7 spots:blink:
