Ok, check this out, StriVectin is a wrinkle cream. How the hell does that have anything to do with the SBK audience?

StriVectin-SD named Title Sponsor of HANNspree Superbike World Championship event at Miller Motorsports Park
Miller Motorsports Park is very pleased to announce that it has entered into a wide-ranging partnership with Basic Research, Inc., a Salt Lake City-based manufacturer of cosmetic, fitness and weight-loss products, to help promote and build awareness of the company's products.

StriVectin-SD, a cosmetic cream that helps diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and crows' feet, will be the title sponsor of the HANNspree Superbike World Championship event over the weekend of May 29-June 1. The event will now be known as the HANNspree Superbike World Championship, StriVectin-SD USA Round presented by HANNspree.

While I think it's really cool that the US SBK round at Miller has secured a title sponsor, WTF is with those prices?

They're so crazy high, it hardly seems like a legit gig? Miracle mystery cream, under an ounce for a hundred and fifty-three bucks? How desparate are people that they'd spend this much money on some snake-oil cosmetic?

Speaking of weird sponsors, how about Sterilgarda? They are a milk producer?

Does anybody know the significance of "Go Eleven" as in Team Sterilgarda Go Eleven?

#11 used to be Xaus' racing number in WSB & MotoGP, but went to #111 when he re-joined WSB b/c Corser had taken it.

Do they really think anti-wrinkle cream will sell well to the motorcycle racing demographic? Miller must have some GREAT salesmen working for him...

I don't do math well. If it costs $153.00 for .9 ounces, how much is a ten gallon drum? :ack2:

For that much much dough, you could keep the weight and buy a bigger bike! :w00t:
