For those new to this site, here is what I believe.

Knowing this before 9/11/2001 (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/15/AR2005111501842.html),* they first tried to tell people (http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/05/20010503-4.html) the truth, then Cheney had Bush take a long vacation (http://www.maebrussell.com/Articles%20and%20Notes/Bush%20Break%20Longest%20in%20a%20Generation.html) where, based on PNAC recommendations (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century), they planned the attacks 9/11 (http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/011805_simplify_case.shtml) as a pretext to invade Afghanistan to build a pipeline (http://www.truthout.org/docs_02/12.30A.afgh.pipe.htm) to get the oil and natural gas out of the Caspian Sea basin (http://www.newhumanist.com/oil.html) and as a reason to invade Iraq to control its oil (http://www.globalpolicy.org/security/oil/irqindx.htm). Iraq has the 2nd largest proven oil reserves in the world (http://usgovinfo.about.com/library/weekly/aairaqioil.htm). I believe they had to lie to the world because telling the truth would set off World War III (http://www.wsws.org/articles/2007/dec2007/iran-d01.shtml) for the last remaining oil. This is why they believe they will be vindicated by history and why they invented the terrorism deception (http://www.prwatch.org/books/wmd.html). Obesity is more deadly than terrorism (http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/News/News_By_Industry/ET_Cetera/Obesity_more_dangerous_than_terrorism_Experts/articleshow/2811480.cms).
I do not agree with these decisions, but I believe they see themselves as heroes, saving many millions of Americans from starvation in a few years by their actions now. I see a better way, which is why I marched in the largest anti-war protest in the history of the country years ago. We should have spent the 3 trillion dollars (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/guest_contributors/article3419840.ece) this war is costing on developing alternative energy and converting to a new way of life. I’ve read that solar panels across the Sahara (http://www.boston.com/news/science/articles/2007/08/11/after_oil_and_gas_sahara_sunshine/) could provide the Earth with clean energy. Bacteria can produce hydrogen (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/04/26/bacteria_hydrogen_production/). And there are technologies to turn landfills into energy (http://www.slate.com/id/2181083/). Let’s do that now.
Is it interesting to me in 2008 to go back and see what I was thinking in 2003 about the war (http://www.xenophilia.com/news_03.htm).
