I thought this new feature was important enough to have its very own thread. The new thread tagging feature is also an excellent new search feature and why it is important to add a couple of tags to your and any body else's post when they would help classify the subject.
What the tags do, is make it easy to find other posts with the same tag. Up top in the Navbar under the Search dropdown, there is a new Tag Search option. It brings up what is called a "Tag Cloud". A tag is nothing more than a key word or two that describes what a post is about.
Tags are easy to add, you can add them when you post or on an existing thread at the bottom, click on add/edit tags. Just type in your key words and separate them with a comma. If the tag already exists on another post, it will tell you as you type it in and that you tag matches another tag, which is a good thing!
The display in the Tag Cloud show bigger letters meaning more threads have those tags. Here's what it looks like:

As you can see, if everybody would help tag threads, it makes a cool way to quickly find other threads that have related information.
