I watched both ESPN and ABC's pre-race broadcast and didn't see a dang thing about Nicky Hayden.

Interesting thing is Nicky said he had no brakes! Rear wasn't working and no heat in the fronts.

NICKY HAYDEN: Yeah, actually the rear brakes weren't working. They just flew the bike in from Japan. I'm sure it's been setting for a while. The front brake was working fine but the front brakes are carbon. When they're cold, they don't work. So that's OK. Get the heart rate going other little bit in the morning, so woke me up, but everything else on it was perfect.
