New 2-Stroke Rumors

Rumors are floating around of new clean-burning two strokes possibly making a reappearance in the US market We'll do our part to spread the rumors by posting a concept drawing by artist Oberdan Bezzi.

RD 500! I'd sell a Guzzi to have something like that again!

Nothing equals the sweet smell of a two stroke high performance bike, nothing the light-switch acceleration, it's just unique.

The Japanese could make a ham sammich go 200mph if they wanted. Designing a two-stroke that's "clean" shouldn't be a problem.. -But then they have to sell the idea to the EPA, who I suspect aren't exactly mechanical engineers...:rolleyes:

I tried to do some research into this clean burning two-stroke thing and came away with little. Seems there is some Austrailian company holding a lot of the patents in this area and the technology involves some kind of direct injection.
