Word is that that Paul Newman has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer or not? At any rate, he has donated $120 million to charity.

Let's hope for the best if he is ill. At any rate, the man is a first rate class act.

I have him in my thoughts if his illness is as reported.
I actually saw Mr. Newman in person about a decade ago. This was in middle school and I was in a class. During class, a couple of my fellow students were giving him a tour of the school. I glanced over to see who it was and it didn't really register with me that it was him. It was only afterwards during a student-teacher group meeting a few days later when the principal told us that it was Paul Newman. I thought, "Really? Wow, that's pretty cool." Apparently, he was a minor trustee for our school at the time (as far as I can remember). All I can say is thank you.

Few people measure up the the degree Mr. Newman has done. I wish him all the best of care and a much longer life.

Sad news. You never know if you can believe what you read so maybe it isn't true?
